PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE June 1999 – Present Purchasing Agent /Fleet Management Responsible for insuring county purchases are the best available pricing and that budgets are followed and handled properly. Fleet responsibilities include bidding items to be obtained. Additional duties include the coordination and production of the annual Caroling on the Circle event. November 1990– June 1999 Selected and hired as one of 10 original Paramedics tasked with setting up and operating the legislated advanced life support service in World Championship Punkin Chunkin Assn January 2001 – December 2008, President January 2009 – Present, Elected as president annually for eight years. During my service as president, the annual Punkin Chunkin fall event grew from 25 thousand attendees to more than 70 thousand attendees. Responsible for oversight and production of the Punkin Chunkin event, including coordinating field set up, onsite vendors, trash and other service vendors, booking and scheduling live stage entertainment. conducting sponsor negotiations and coordinating state, county and local resources for police, fire and emergency medical services. Currently serve on the association’s board and as Director of Promotions and Media, with responsibility booking all entertainment acts for the Punkin Chunkin event and coordinating them on stage. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to finding and working with sponsors for donations and support. September 1979 – October 1990 Owned and operated as an entertainment business.
